Starting this week, our partners at City1 Maintenance are taking care of 28 of Myrtle Avenue’s custom tree guards and benches in Fort Greene and Clinton Hill.

The urban environment is tough on trees… and tree guards.  Workers will be scraping rust off of the posts and artistic metal panels, then applying a special rust-prevention paint.

Later this month we’ll be performing routine tree bed care and then installing ornamental plants in tree beds along the Avenue.  Stay tuned.
