On this annual event, you can show support for the independently-owned businesses found on Myrtle Avenue by choosing to do your holiday shopping locally. By supporting locally-owned businesses, rather than national chains, you keep more of your money circulating within your community, which supports more businesses and provides more tax revenue to support city services.
