Kiini Ibura Jewelry at 388 Myrtle Avenue is being spotlighted by Jacque Reid, co-host of New York Live on NBC every day this week. The daily lifestyle show, which features fashion, beauty, celebrity interviews and stories about cooking, the arts and the tri-state area, airs each weekday at 3pm.

Co-host, Reid has been donning original necklaces handmade by Kiini Ibura owner, Melody Burns, including the coral and fire opal necklace featured in the picture above.

Two trademarks of Melody's work is that each piece of jewelry she creates, whether necklaces, earrings, bracelets or rings, is 100% handmade and features precious and semi-precious stones, including turquoise, Ghanaian glass, Austrian crystals, African amber and fresh water pearls.

Melody's work has been seen previously on the likes of Whoopi Goldberg, who once donned a gorgeous Kiini Ibura necklace on an episode of The View and singers, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott and Angie Stone. Melody last year was voted one of the ’10 African-American Visual Artists You Need to Know’ by the Atlanta Post.
