2 new stores on the Avenue

Byme Brooklyn (519 Myrtle Avenue at the corner of Grand), the 2nd store for the owners of Barking Brown, opens tomorrow (Friday) at 10am. Byme, pronounced 'by-me' isn't a selfish proclamation about the maker of each product, but instead speaks to our ability to explore and choose for ourselves. The store owners promise a beautifully laid out space with an abundance of unique, interesting and beautiful products-- surely one that offers ample opportunity to explore and choose for ourselves...and others! Images for Life Studio Boutique (354 Myrtle between Adelphi and Carlton), owned by husband-wife team, Antoine and Cheri Gray opened just three days ago. Having relocated from Greene and Frankin after some time, this is not a first time effort for the couple but they are looking forward to the increased foot traffic of Myrtle. Cheri manages the fashion forward side of things, hence 'boutique' in the store's name. Antoine is a photographer and manages that aspect, the 'studio' portion.
