At only two weeks opened, Images for Life Studio Boutique at 354 Myrtle Avenue (between Carlton and Adelphi) is a brand new Myrtle Avenue photography studio and boutique. It has opened just in time to fill a wide variety of holiday needs, so feel free to stop in and shop.

"It has been a dream to open a business in Fort Greene," states Antoine Grey, who along his wife Cheri are owners of the new biz. The couple are no strangers to the neighborhood, having lived in the Clinton Hill Coops for over 13 years and also having operated their business on Franklin near Classon before moving onto Myrtle. "There wasn't much exposure and foot traffic over there," says Cheri, which prompted their move to Myrtle.

Cheri manages the fashion-forward side of the business with a line of natural, handmade bath and body products called 'Bermuda Spa', handmade and custom greeting cards, a large line of sterling silver jewelry, hats, jeans, blouses, dresses and jackets.

Antoine, a photographer (the 'studio' inspired part of the store's name), specializes in portraits, family, children and wedding photography. The photos can be displayed traditionally or as a montage on wall or special photo album.

During this holiday stop in to enter a drawing for special photo packages valued at $190, $125 and $75 dollars.

"The most important thing for us to offer high quality items without high end prices," states Antoine and Cheri.
