Network w/ local progressive planners and support locally-owned businesses
PN and MARP have invited director Virginie-Alvine Perrette to screen her short film, Twilight Becomes Night, which follows the stories of five neighborhood stores in New York City and reveals the role that locally-owned businesses play in our individual lives and neighborhoods. (Film screening is scheduled to begin at 7:30pm)
MARP will also award $2000 worth of Myrtle gift certificates to our very own local business supporters - the Explore Myrtle Avenue Shopping Spree contest winners! Congratulations to Jessica Zapotechne, Donnie Scruggs and Courtney Rost, and thanks to all who entered for supporting Myrtle Avenue!
Planners Network NYC is the local New York City chapter of Planners Network, which is an international association of professionals, activists, academics, and students who use urban and rural planning as a tool for social, economic, and environmental justice.
