Fort Greene Fest this Saturday

“A celebration of the cultures, cuisine and artistic diversity of Brooklyn."

The first annual Fort Greene Fest will take place this Saturday, September 8th, from 12p to 10p at Fort Greene Park. Mainstage entertainment begins at 2pm with musician headliner Talib Kweli.

Film, includes actress/director, Rosie Perez’s new “Yo Soy Boricua."

Many of the local restaurants that we know and love will also be present and in full effect.

Pop DJ and local entrepreneur Dahved Levy from WBLS will be "rockin' you, rockin' you..."

Stop in: join your neighborhors and have a blast.

I attended this event and I had a blast!!! The food was amazing and so diversed. The music, acts, and the people are so talented and peaceful. I love Fort Greene Park!

Good to see someone post about it! I was wondering how it went. Last weekend was one of those weekends when there were competing activities on the schedule so I could not make it, as hard as I tried to make it work. I will look forward to it next year.
