This Sunday: Afro-Punk Block Party

This weekend, on Sunday, July 1st from 12 to 5 pm, we've teamed up with BAM and Afro-Punk to host a block party on Clinton Avenue between Myrtle & Willoughby. The party will feature an artisans market, fashion and jewelry designers, and food from local Myrtle Avenue retaurants. Music by DJs Rich Medina and The Dustbin Brothers, and a live set by No Surrender.

The block party is part of BAM's Afro-Punk Festival, which gets started this evening, Thursday, June 28th at 7 pm at BAM, 30 Lafayette Avenue, with a discussion with Bobby Seale, followed by a free reception at 8:30.
