In collaboration with Project for Public Spaces (
PPS) and the Ingersoll and Walt Whitman Tenant Associations, the Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership will be hosting another public community planning workshop on Saturday, March 3, 2007, from 10AM-Noon. The workshop is a follow-up to the larger workshop we held in
late October, that looked at three sections of Myrtle Avenue. This workshop will focus on the area of Myrtle Avenue between Carlton Avenue and Prince Street, and will be used to generate ideas and get public input related to:
- Public Space, Open Space, and Streetscape
- Pedestrian Access, Safety, and Public Transporation
- Street Trees, Landscaping, Gardening & Greening
- Neighborhood Connections & Gathering Spots
The event will be held at JHS 265 Susan S. McKinney, 101 Park Avenue (Cumberland/Carlton). The workshop will be held rain or shine.
RSVP to Ed Brown at Ingersoll's Office at (718) 596-8906.
