What NOT To Do: Graffiti Removal Scars Building

This touch of magic at 446 Myrtle Ave was not the work of the Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Parnership's graffiti removal. The property management company apparently hired someone with a grinder or sander to remove the graffiti, definitely a no no in the preservation field.

FYI: If you'd like to safely remove graffiti, the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) recommends steam cleaning or pressure washing under 250 psi.
