Green in BKLYN celebrates 5 years in business and on Myrtle Avenue this coming Sunday, April 20th.

How fitting that the anniversary for the favorite eco-friendly store would also be a celebration of Earth Day.

Come out and celebrate.  The schedule is action-packed, full of F-U-N!

11am-1pm
Lola, the shop’s mascot and doggy to storeowner, Lola, holds court.  She hasn’t been in the shop for a little while.  So, lovable Lola returns to meet and greet in the store.

1pm-4pm
MUNY Design Pop Up Shop: Bohemian clothes and bedding beautifully designed in BKLYN and made fair trade in India will be available at the shop, and LOTS and LOTS of it.

4pm – 6pm
Reception for Wolfgang Ryan, Artist: Displaying “unusual illuminated objects cobbled together from the streets of BKLYN.”

While Supplies Last: Local Treats: Free tastes of Brooklyn Roasting Company coffee, Mister Sister vegan and kosher fudge and Raaka virgin chocolate.  And (for the reception) organic wine from Gnarly Vines.
All Day: Green in BKLYN’s Customer Raffle: Make a purchase of $5 or more (for Green in BKLYN’s Fifth Anniversary) and be entered in our raffle for all kinds of eco-friendly treats & treasures.
